On the second day of the Traffic and Railway Technologies Fair – SEE Mobility 2023, where Nelt was a gold sponsor, a visit to our business complex was organized for all interested exhibitors, foreign guests, and other friends of the company.
The attendees were welcomed by Miloš Jelić, CEO of Nelt Group, who emphasized our focus on achieving long-term sustainability in all aspects of business. “We continue to invest in digitalization, new technologies, and modernization of logistics services, as well as measures for energy efficiency, the use of renewable resources, and reducing CO2 emissions. Our goal is to provide the most efficient and advanced logistics support to our clients. We are open to new ideas, partnerships, and innovative solutions that will bring us closer to our goals,” said Miloš.
Vuk Mijanović, Supply Chain Manager for the Serbian market, highlighted that Nelt, as a regional leader in distribution and logistics, recognizes the importance of intermodal and multimodal flows and reminded of the first private intermodal terminal that Nelt opened in its business complex six years ago. “We want to offer solutions to all our partners, clients, and large manufacturing companies that will enable a more optimal, efficient, and sustainable supply chain. In a literal sense, we want to offer everyone we cooperate with a new perspective on intermodal and last mile logistics,” said Vuk.
Following Vuk, Jelena Jovanić, Sales and Business Development Manager of the Intermodal Terminal, addressed the attendees. She announced the opening of Nelt’s new terminal in Kruševac, which, with its location, enables connectivity with all important cities in Serbia, as well as with countries in the region. “Equipped with railway tracks, it provides full logistic support to clients from various industries through a dry port service. Future users will have the opportunity to transport their goods by rail to destinations in Europe and to ports in the surrounding area. In this way, they will enable the transport of larger quantities of goods by a single means of transportation, reducing transport costs and CO2 emissions,” emphasized Jelena.
Visitors had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the logistics capacities of Nelt Group and the intermodal terminal. The event was complemented by a tasting of DOBA wines, led by sommelier Miodrag Krsmanović.
