Nelt and Bambi have begun delivering the first batch of Plazma biscuits to children in preschools across Serbia. Nelt will participate as a logistics partner, with the donation supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. Over the next few weeks, Plazma will reach approximately 200,000 children.
“Bambi and Nelt share a long-standing partnership that goes beyond business collaboration. We are happy to be part of such a significant moment, demonstrating how unity and perseverance lead to new victories. We are especially delighted to bring joy to the youngest through this gesture. Plazma is a symbol of emotion and a staple in every home, and Nelt is pleased to dedicate its resources to ensure it reaches children,” said Robert Jenovai, Nelt’s Vice President for the Serbian market.
Ognjen Lazić, Marketing and COMEX Director at Bambi, emphasized the importance of this donation and expressed gratitude to their partners.
“I believe everyone welcomed the news of Plazma’s production restart with a smile. As we will not be operating at full capacity for some time, it was clear that the first batch should go to those who missed it the most and who are the least patient—our youngest ones. That’s why we decided to deliver the initial quantities to preschools across the country. This mission could not have succeeded without the support of our partners. We are grateful to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia for their assistance and to Nelt for distributing Plazma to all the planned locations free of charge. Our happiness is now a little greater, especially seeing children’s smiles as they enjoy their favorite Plazma,” said Lazić.
Bambi recently resumed limited production of Plazma following a fire that damaged part of its production lines at the Požarevac factory. The limited quantities will gradually appear on the market in the coming weeks.
